Valmont Industrial Park is ideal for manufacturing and distribution companies alike. The Hazleton City Authority and the Greater Hazleton Joint Sewer Authority serve the industrial park with systems large enough to handle almost any type of industrial user.
Water
The Hazleton City Authority supplies quality water throughout the park in 12-inch and 16-inch mains at pressures and flow rate suitable for industrial use.
Sewer
Sanitary sewerage service is provided by the Greater Hazleton Joint sewer Authority through 10” and 12’ mains. The Greater Hazleton Joint Sewer Authority is permitted to treat an average hydraulic capacity of 8.9 million gallons per day.
Natural Gas
Supplied by UGI Utilities. There is a high-pressure main adjacent to the park and a 6” line running through the park. Abundant fuel is available for both heating and processing.
Electrical
Reliable electrical service is provided by PPL Utilities and can serve customers at the 12kV or 69kV voltage levels. There are currently two 12kV substations in the area.
Rail
The Norfolk Southern Railroad, a Class I carrier, provides rail service throughout the park 5 days per week.
There is also a bulk transload terminal close to the park where companies can receive rail shipments. The facility is just off Exit 145 of Interstate 81 and is available to industries in Valmont Industrial Park. Managed by Master Logistics, the facility has two loading platforms, with a 250-foot-long railroad siding offering 60 railcar spots. The railroad siding is serviced by Norfolk Southern five days per week.
Telecommunications

This network supports SONET technology for ultra-reliable service to customers with critical requirements.
